Dreamworks
An American film studio which develops, produces and distributes films, video games and television programming. Dreamworks have produced and distributed more than ten films with box-office grosses totalling more than $1 million each.
Dreamworks first began in 1994 as an ambitious attempt by media moguls Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen (forming the SKG present on the bottom of the Dreamworks logo) to create a new Hollywood studio of which they own 72%. Dreamworks animation was spun off in 2004 into Dreamworks Animation SKG. Its films were distributed worldwide by Paramount, but the animation studio remained independent of Paramount/Viacom.

UNIVERSAL
Universal was first founded in 1912 by Carl Laemmle and is one of the oldest American movie studios still in continuous production. It also owns a collection of TV shows through its NBC Universal Television Distribution. It has acquired rights to several prominent film makers works originally released by other studios through its subsidiaries over the years.
Universal Pictures is the second longest lived Hollywood studio.

Columbia Pictures
Columbia Pictures is an American film production and distribution company. It now forms part of the columbia TriStar motion picture group owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment, a subsidiary of the Japenese conglomerate Sony. It is one of the leading film companies in the world, a member of the so called 'Big Six'. The studio was founded in 1919 as Cohn-Brandt-Cohn film sales by brothers Jack and Harry Cohn and Joe Brandt. It released its first feature film in August 1922.
